28 April, 2025Claddagh Credit Union Invests Over €100,000 to Support Leaving Cert Students Transitioning to Third-Level Education
Over the last 11 years, Claddagh Credit Union have now given away over €110,000 in our Unicash Bursary to support third level students in education. Between January and April 2025, we have had the please of visiting eight schools within our common bond, where we spoke with over 700 Leaving Certificate students about the Claddagh Credit Union College Bursary they may be eligible to receive towards their Apprenticeship, Diploma/Degree in a third level institution or full time PLC.
This year Claddagh Credit Union is giving away a grand total of €5,000, that is €1,000 each for 5 lucky students.
The exciting giveaway is open to any students that is due to complete their Leaving Certificate in Summer of 2025 once they hold or open an account with us prior to the 10th of September 2025.
Here’s how to enter:
- Open or hold an account with Claddagh Credit Union. If you are not a member of Claddagh Credit Union and wish to join please click here
- Intend on pursuing a Diploma/Degree, Apprenticeship, or full-time PLC.
- Only those commencing their first year are eligible.
- Submit your application only by 5pm, September 10th, 2025.
