Proof of Income

  • Depending on your own circumstances:
  • Social Welfare receipts
  • Recent payslips
  • Recent income assessment
  • Tax Clearance Certificate

Bank Statements

  • The last 3 months statements from your current account

Additional Information

  • Invoice for solar panels may be requested
  • 100% of loan amount will be made payable to the business/contractor completing the work

Lending criteria

Savings Requirement

  • Minimum of €20 in your savings.

Ability to Repay

  • We must establish that a borrower is able to afford the loan repayments, including interest, for the full duration of the loan.

Loan T's & C's

  • Loan amounts of up to €75,000 available. No minimum borrowing. Max loan duration of 10 years. Loan to be used for the purpose of reducing greenhouse gases.

In the case that a guarantor is required on a loan and you are providing their documentation (e.g. payslip etc.) the Credit Union will need them to sign a Third Party Information Consent form available from our Downloads section.

*Applying through your online account enables you complete the whole loan process from application stage to funds being delivered direct to your bank account.
